Every product at Inspired Peru has a face, a name, and a history. Inspired Peru didn't start in a corporate office—it started in my parents' small workshop. I grew up watching my father meticulously transform gourds into art and my mother weave the very fibers that define our culture.
I saw the tireless dedication required to create handmade Peruvian products. My mother didn't just make "items"; she crafted stories through hand-knitted alpaca hats and gloves. Inspired Peru was created to ensure those stories aren't just told, but owned by the people who live them.

In a world of mass-produced "fair trade" labels, Inspired Peru stands alone. While researching in California, I realized a vital piece was missing from the market: true ownership. Most companies selling Peruvian decor are large corporations using artisan labor. Inspired Peru is 100% owned and operated by Peruvian artisans. When you shop with us, you aren't a bystander to a "cause"—you are a direct partner to our families in the Andes. We believe the artisan is the main character, not a background player.
