Andean Puff™ Elephant — 12" Pink
Handmade Alpaca Fur
Ethically and sustainable sourced
This 12-inch handmade alpaca elephant combines genuine baby alpaca fur, hand-dyed in a soft light pink, and artisan craftsmanship. Handmade in Peru by indigenous Andean artisan families, this elephant is finished with the Andean Puff™ softness that defines our collection.
The Feel of Andean Puff™
Soft light pink gives this elephant a gentle, whimsical appearance within our Andean Puff™ Elephant collection. Each piece begins with genuine baby Huacaya alpaca fur and is individually hand-dyed by a single artisan, resulting in subtle variations in tone from piece to piece.
Andean Puff™ describes a dense, springy loft that yields softly under your hand and naturally recovers its volume. This distinctive feel comes from the natural crimp structure of genuine Huacaya alpaca fur, which creates exceptional loft and volume across the entire fur surface.
Within our Sensory Collection System, Cloud Touch™ is reserved exclusively for teddy bears, while Andean Puff™ identifies our Huacaya-fiber animal designs. The same natural crimp that gives Huacaya fiber its loft is expressed here through the elephant's rounded body, softly sculpted trunk, and dimensional shape.
Each elephant is hand-stitched entirely by a single artisan from one of our 35+ indigenous Andean artisan families. No two pieces are exactly alike. Every piece ships with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artisan who made it.
Also available in other colorways: Baby Blue and Natural White, each handmade from genuine baby Huacaya alpaca fur and finished with its own Certificate of Authenticity.
