Run your fingers through the locks. Move them. Watch them fall back into place. There is nothing else like this — and nowhere else to find it in blush pink genuine Suri fur.

The Silk Drape Suri experience

The Blush Pink Silk Drape Suri Alpaca is part fiber sculpture, part style object, part conversation piece. Its long silky Suri locks — eco-dyed in a warm, luminous blush — can be touched, moved, and rearranged by hand. Style them swept to one side for a sleek look. Let them fall forward for something wilder. The locks always return to their natural waterfall drape — fluid, shimmering, and impossible to put down.

This is what happens when the rarest alpaca fiber in the world meets color. Suri fiber has no surface scales — unlike wool or synthetic fiber, its smooth structure allows dye to penetrate deeply and evenly, creating a richness and shimmer that looks completely different from how color sits on any other material. The blush pink in genuine Suri does not look like blush pink anywhere else.

Suri alpacas represent fewer than 5% of the global alpaca population. Their fiber grows in long parallel locks with a natural pearlescent sheen — the Silk of the Andes — and no synthetic material replicates it. Each standing 12-inch alpaca is hand-stitched by one of our 35+ indigenous Andean artisan families in Peru using genuine Suri fur and non-toxic eco-dye.

No factories. No mass production. No two are identical.

Suri vs Huacaya — which is right for you?

Both Suri and Huacaya are genuine alpaca fiber. Both are handmade in Peru by our 35+ artisan families. Both are hypoallergenic and built to last. But they are completely different experiences.

Choose Cloud Touch Huacaya if you want:
Dense, cloud-like volume · springy plush texture · the classic heirloom companion you sink into · therapeutic sensory comfort for daily holding

Choose Silk Drape Suri if you want:
Long silky locks you can touch and style · visual shimmer and waterfall drape · something that stops people in their tracks · the rarest fiber in our collection

Many of our customers own both — one to hold, one to display and wonder at.

Care & more

Suri fiber requires gentle handling to preserve its signature silky drape. Spot clean only with cool water and a mild, fragrance-free soap. Never machine wash or tumble dry. When drying, smooth the locks gently back into their natural parallel direction and allow to air dry flat. Never brush against the direction of the locks — this disrupts the natural structure that creates the Silk Drape effect.
