Each ornament in this set is individually hand-carved, etched, and painted by an artisan in Cochas, Huancayo, Peru, except the Andean Owl, whose knitted chullo hat is separately hand-knitted from alpaca yarn in a different part of the Andes. The stocking is hand-knitted from alpaca yarn by las tejedoras, a community of expert knitters in the Andes of Peru.

Ownership & Care
The gourd ornaments should be dusted gently with a soft, dry cloth and kept away from prolonged direct sunlight and moisture. The stocking's alpaca yarn chullo hat and body should be hand washed gently in cold water with a small amount of mild, fragrance-free soap, then reshaped while damp and laid flat to dry.
